This series consists of appropriations supported by the Office of Representative Luis V. Gutiérrez. Appropriations included: Transportation infrastructure projects in Chicago, Neurofibromatosis (NF) research, USDA's sections 514 loans and 516 grants, National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Skin Disease (NIAMS), Chicago Public Schools Science Laboratory Safety Initiative, expansion of the Municipal Police force in the Municipality of Barceloneta, Puerto Rico, Arthritis Foundation, Metropolitan Tenants Organization's (MTO) Affordable Housing Preservation Project, Puerto Rican Culture and Art, ChildServ Kids Place program and PEP (Parenting Education Program), Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Fund, Little Village Open Space Development initiative, Bridgeport expansion redevelopment project, Chicago-Mexico Nurse Initiative, and National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium (NAFTC) program.
