Description
This series consists of appropriations supported by the Office of Representative Luis V. Gutiérrez. Appropriations included: North American Wetlands Conservation Fund, Columbia College Chicago to establish an Advanced Production Center, Conservation Medicine Center of Chicago (CMCC), National Invasive Species Act, TRIO Programs, Child Nutrition Programs, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's immunization program, blood-related cancer research, Children's Advocacy Center Program, nurse training programs, epilepsy research and programs, Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC), Trauma Care Systems Planning and Development Act, State Wildlife Grants Program, Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star program, Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP), State Energy Program (SEP), Industrial Technologies Program, Energy Information Administration, renewable energy - biomass geothermal hydropower solar and wind, Army Neurotoxin Exposure Treatment Program (NETRP), Seeds of Peace, Metra commuter rail system, Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA), global AIDS tuberculosis (TB) and malaria programs, Minority AIDS Initiative, Office of Healthy Homes and Lead Hazard Control, Technology Opportunities Program (TOP), Community Technology Centers (CTC), Neighborhood Networks, Healthy Start program, for St. Leo's Residence for Veterans and Veterans Affairs Clinic, AIDS Drug Assistance Programs (ADAPs), United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Backlog Elimination Plan, Global Environment Facility, USAID's biodiversity conservation programs, National Science Foundation (NSF), eliminate funding for the Robust Nuclear Earth Penetrator (RNEP), the State Department's Migration and Refugee Assistance (MRA), the Department of State's Emergency Refugee and Migration Assistance (ERMA), the Department of Health and Human Services' Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), the Refugee Corps within the Department of Homeland Security, Access Community Health Network's IT for Tomorrow Campaign (ACCESS), mental health services available to U.S. military personnel deployed to combat theaters, Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), Communities In Schools (CIS), and timber road subsidies in the Tongass National Forest.
