Abstract

Nasal cavity is known to act as an air conditioner in which it warms and humidifies inspired air. Previous research has shown that the nasal cavity is different within populations at different geographic clines. Humans at a cold and dry environments tend to have a tall and narrow nasal cavity while humans at a hot and humid environment tend to have a low and wide nasal cavity. The aim of this study is to address morphological variation of the nose between three different geographical populations (Buriat, Former Yugoslavia, West Africa)
