Abstract

Through technology comes advancements that change how we go about our daily lives. Because of the advancements to our social world, community is a big factor, as being social is a part of being human. The same is true for art and design with NFTs. Cyber Spiders is a virtual space exclusively for graphic designers and artists to display work in a respected area similar to physical art exhibitions. Cyber Spiders, made in blender, is fully rigged to move in 3D space and virtual environments. It will also send a zoom link where people can connect while in an art exhibition. The art will be collected from submissions on the Cyber Spiders Discord. Artists will be compensated after art pieces are sold at Cyber Spiders auctions and exhibitions, with Cyber Spiders only taking a fraction to keep auctions running in the future. Cyber Spiders’ purpose is to make graphic artists and designers as impactful, successful, and important as analog artists. Often graphic art has less importance than physical art, because people like having something tangible and there are less areas to sell and have graphic art displayed. There are very few galleries that only have digital art on display. Cyber Spiders is attempting to fill that void and bring a unique spin to it. In conclusion, Cyber Spiders creates a virtual space primarily for graphic designers and artists. Cyber Spiders will make the virtual gallery experience more sociable, entertaining, and positive experience for all parties.
