Abstract
Through my work, I explore personal style and design, creating pieces that reflect both my aesthetic vision and the interests that inspire me. I draw inspiration from social media, trends, and culture, translating these influences into designs that feel authentic and innovative. My goal is to communicate clearly what each brand collection offers, whether it’s bold streetwear, modern silhouettes, or unique graphics, so that the audience understands the value and story behind each piece. This work is for individuals who are passionate about fashion and style. While it may resonate strongly with younger audiences, it is not limited to them but anyone with an appreciation for thoughtful, creative, and wearable design can connect with it. I will be showcasing branding systems and clothing design with a particular focus on a self-initiated project centered around developing my own fashion brand. This project explores the full process of brand creation from concept and identity development to visual execution and clothing design. The work resulted in the creation of a cohesive self-brand and brand collection. It includes logo systems, typography choices, visual language, mockups, and garment applications that communicate a clear and intentional identity. Through this work, I developed skills in building a strong brand identity, understanding visual consistency, and translating conceptual ideas into wearable designs. I focused on how branding extends beyond a logo onto storytelling and tone, and how the clothing itself reflects the brand’s values and aesthetic. The visual strategy includes showcasing my clothing designs within a cohesive branding system. This involves mockups, lookbook imagery, and visual presentations that demonstrate how the brand lives both digitally and physically. During this symposium, I am preparing an exhibition that will include the expanded, focused project highlight of my self-initiated fashion brand and its associated branding systems. The work will be displayed as a combination of physical clothing pieces, branded lookbooks, and visual presentations that showcase both the garments and the identity systems I developed. Viewers will experience a cohesive narrative that communicates the brand’s style, values, and visual language, giving them insight into how branding and design intersect to create a unique fashion identity.
