Abstract
Community college nursing programs have experienced an increase in Eastern European immigrant students, yet minimal research has been conducted on this demographic. The purpose of this research was to examine the lived experiences of Eastern European nursing graduates English as a second language. In this interpretive qualitative study, participants described their socialization to the United States, their development and academic experience as nursing students, and their perspectives as practicing nurses.
