Abstract
I capture amazing moments in my life and make lasting physical memories in my life. Traveling to new and exciting places to experience the views inspire me to take pictures of them. I transform them from pictures into paintings. Doing these paintings creates a sort of window for my past travels, which I can look back on different memories with my family. After capturing through my camera, painting these views is almost developing a big picture onto a canvas. I realized that taking pictures with my camera is not enough because I want these memories to be more developed. Even though I’m creative in most of my paintings, I also like to go straight forward to the pictures. The reason why I chose to paint the pictures of my travels is to visualize the smallest details. When painting the places, I wanted to capture the more accurate details from the pictures on my camera. Looking back at the places I painted will give me back the memories of my travels with my family. These paintings are important because they represent the beauty and the details of my amazing experiences. Acrylic paint is the medium I use in my paintings. I chose acrylics because they represent the soothing flow on how I use my time on my painting. The views of my travels are beautiful because my mind is blown away by the variety of colors and small details in the pictures I took.
