Abstract
The purpose of this document is to understand the benefits of collaboration with competitors, what impact it generates on profits and risk reduction within the industrial sector to which companies in Ecuador belong. This research will answer the following questions: how to manage, managerially, collaboration with competitors? How should information be managed among the collaborating companies? With what values would this collaboration be developed? As to profits and costs the question that will be answered is how this cooperation of the companies will affect the reduction of costs and competition in itself, for an increase in income? Finally, without leaving technology aside, how do the benefits increase with a transfer of technology or innovation in this alliance in the market?
