Abstract

My senior exhibition is something personal to me. I grew up playing video games but without the Gameboy Advance, I could not imagine what my life would be like. I still remember playing Super Mario on the Gameboy Advance and creating lasting memories. Video games are something that help me as a stress reliever, and help me think outside the box. Online games have helped me make great friends over the years. I decided to build my project based on something close to me and present the complete breakdown of one of my favorite companies, Nintendo. My exhibition is focused on presenting Nintendo business schema and models. I intend to display one of the biggest Japanese gaming companies in an easy to understand way, as a wall mounted train map. Train maps are one of the easiest maps to read even without being able to read the language it is in. I would turn Nintendo's company structures into a streamline train map through restructuring the way we look at the pedigree chart. I would create tracks/paths for my imagery train based on the structure of the Nintendo branches and hierarchy.
