Loaned by Japanese American Service Committee Legacy Center Archives Hand-crafted wooden box created by Hyosaka; the lid is faintly painted with green grass, bare trees and an occasional orange or red flower; the interior of the lid has a painted, aerial illustration of Hunt, Idaho and Tule Lake; Hyosaka labels key landmarks and includes the date “1943”; it appears that a wooden separator is missing from the interior of the box. Made at Tule Lake Segregation Center, California
