Abstract

This Research paper seeks to exam how people find local Halloween stores relevant in today’s economic market. This research is focused on examine consumers behavior towards purchasing items within their local Halloween store. The purpose of this research is to gain insights by examining data in which it establishes a link between local Halloween stores and individual purchasing behavior. Additional research consisting of secondary data may show us about consumers’ purchasing behavior and the overall Halloween Store industry. This secondary research may show how it may establish a link with successful Halloween stores. Secondary data may also show the relevancy between Halloween stores and their local environment. This research could show the relationship between individuals and their need to shop within a local radius of a Halloween store. To put together this research paper, data will need to be collected from anonymous individuals that have shopped at a Halloween stores recently. Data collection will include information about consumers’ purchased items, purchase decisions, and about the Halloween, stores they visited will influence their future Halloween store visits. The data collected will also show shopping frequency, demographic variables, spending maximums and home peripherals to show current demographic relevancy. This information will be collected through a series of questions which will be delivered via an online survey platform. The survey will be a Qualtrics based survey which will be sent to individuals of all ages. Secondary data research such as online Halloween websites will provide data as to how they attract consumers to shop at their pop-up Halloween stores. Articles pertaining to the survival of Halloween stores will contribute knowledge about how consumers choose certain Halloween stores over others. Through this collection of data, I will see if my research can connect the behavior of consumers with the success of Halloween stores. This will aid future businesses understand how consumer behavior may affects purchases within their stores and why it’s important to cater towards consumer parameters.
